Latest: The christian rock group Downhere have a real desire to minister to young people and are happy to let me give their songs to the young people as well as teachers and staff in schools and colleges at Christmas. The group also mentioned to me that they would be very open to come and minister in Belgium if the possibility arose. You can have a free download of their new song "My Last Testament" on their new album if you click on the name of the song or on the image below.
If you want read more about Downhere you can gohere or here and even a well-written piece in Wikipedia here. Alison has done well in her chinese exams and will have to sit a few more at Christmas. Apparently she has also been teaching three hours of french a week to students at University with up to 80 students in her classes. She is picked up by car and has a journey of 2 hrs to the university. Although she is not paid much it gives her some pocket money and the experience is useful ;oD Finally, if you have not already seen this video of the Dalit children (untouchables in India) please do have a look. It also invites anyone who would like to sponsor a Dalit child during his or her education and 100% of the gift goes towards the child's needs.

Downhere s'est montré intéressé de venir servir en Belgique si la possibilité se présente. Alison a bien réussi ses examenss en chinois mais doit encore en passer quelques uns à la Noël. Apparemment elle enseigne trois heures de français par semaine aux étudiants à l'Université. Il y a plus ou moins 80 étudiants dans la classe. Elle n'est pas beaucoup payée mais se fait un peu d'argent de poche et l'expérience est utile ;oD Enfin, si vous n'avez pas encore vu cette vidéo des enfants "Dalit" (les intouchables en Inde) n'oubliez pas d'y jeter un oeil s'il vous plait.
