Latest: I was using some tracks from Dctalk with students recently and found this drawing ! For those too young to remember (anyone under 30 yrs of age I suppose :oD), Dctalk were pioneers of christian hip-hop and were invited by Billy Graham to sing at his evangelistic meetings. Dctalk stands for "decent christian talk" in case you wondered. For the picture you can also click here. Dctalk have also contributed tracks for "Extreme days",as well as "Narnia" with Tobymac from the group and DCtalk as a group in the "Prince in Egypt" tribute album. Kevin Max of DCtalk has had roles in a couple of christian films as well including the new christian film the Imposter just released. A reminder that David and Lydie will be speaking at the Youth Retreat this week-end. Other news over the coming fortnight: Tim and his friend will be coming to stay with us and our niece Naomi has promised to come over to see Johanan's theatre production. Melody has settled in well in her placement and Johanan has done quite well in his exams.
Prayer items and links : 1.University studies for Jo, Melo and Alison and the last year of secondary school for Alexi. 2.Alison's language study in China and for her general needs. For her visit to Hong Kong. 3.For Johanan's theatre production in February 2009. There is a facebook site and a poster. 4.For Stuand Jon's ministries. 5.For Bethany's project. 6.For the Dalits in India (political freedom, social care, spiritual awakening). 7.For Melody's placement at the Willam Lennox neuological centre and for her dissertation. 8.Wayne's European tour(finished on the 3rd of Jan. 2009 in Bilbao). 9.Pray for GFA missionaries Nebu Sein and Yashpal Bhuta Masih in prison. Yashpal Bhuta Masih has since been released from prison but are due to stand trial. Pray for Randhir Malhotra and Kritanu Sarin who where attacked and robbed before the showing of a film on Jesus. 10.Our niece Lizzie's "swimmaton" for the Marie Curie Cancer Care. 11.For David and Lydie as they speak at the Youth retreat.

Le groupe Dctalk a également contribué l'un ou l'autre chant pour le film "Extreme days", de même que "Narnia" avec Tobymac un des chanteurs du groupe. Ensuite, DCtalk se trouve dans parmi les artistes dans l'album inspiré par le film "Prince d'Egypte". Kevin Max de DCtalk a déjà joué dans un film chrétien et joue dans le nouveau film chrétien the Imposter qui vient de sortir. Yashpal Bhuta Masih a été libéré de prison mais doivent encore se défendre au tribunal. Priez pour Randhir Malhotra et Kritanu Sarin qui ont été agressés avant la projection d'un film sur Jésus. 10.Le "swimmaton" (nage sponsorisée) de notre nièce Lizzie pour l'oeuvre contre le cancer Marie Curie. 11.Pour David et Lydie qui seront orateurs à la retraite de jeunes.
