Latest: The song "In the middle of the night" expresses fears we may go through during certain moments often during the night when we are alone with our thoughts! Even when we are surrounded by people, or next to a loved one, we can experience anxiety, loneliness, doubt, or maybe "the dark night of the soul" (that many strong men and women of God can go through) when our questions to and about God finds no answer! All we can do is continue to reach out to Him, call to Him and wait for Him, because he alone can help us and answer our needs, as nothing and no one else in the world is able to respond at that particular moment. The image is one of walking in darkness but when our hand is in the hand of the Son we can then walk in His light. You can click here too for the image.

In the middle of the night

have you ever felt alone

in the darkness all around

have you felt that

you can't phone

there is no one there to phone you

there is no one there who can help/

people use a lot of words

but all they think about is themselves

when you feel the world is angry

when you feel the walls are bare

when you reach your hand

to touch someone

you know that they're not there

when you call out around you

everyone has things to do

but you know you're left to

your own devices

and you'll do the same thing too

Oh yes you would

You think you're life is not important

you think no one even bothers

you say I'll put a mask upon my face

until I find another ...

Do continue to prayer for Johanan and he prepared for his uni exams in a few weeks time, for Melody and her final yeah dissertation as well as the last few months of her placement, for Alison who is sitting exams at the moment and for Alexi who has several pieces of work to submit followed by sixth-form exams. I will be doing the youth meeting next week.
Prayer items and links : 1.University studies for Jo, Melo and Alison and the last year of secondary school for Alexi. 2.Alison's language study in China and for her general needs. For her visit to Hong Kong. 3.For Johanan's theatre production in February 2009. There is a facebook site and a poster. 4.For Stuand Jon's ministries. 5.For Bethany's project. 6.For the Dalits in India (political freedom, social care, spiritual awakening). 7.For Melody's placement at the Willam Lennox neuological centre and for her dissertation. 8.Wayne's European tour(finished on the 3rd of Jan. 2009 in Bilbao). 9.Pray for GFA missionaries Nebu Sein and Yashpal Bhuta Masih in prison. Yashpal Bhuta Masih has since been released from prison but are due to stand trial. Pray for Randhir Malhotra and Kritanu Sarin who where attacked and robbed before the showing of a film on Jesus. 10.Our niece Lizzie's "swimmaton" for the Marie Curie Cancer Care. 11.Thanks for the youth retreat with David and Lydie which went well. 12.The youth meeting I will be speaking at in May 2009.
Dernières nouvelles: Le chant "Au milieu de la nuit" exprime les craintes et les peurs que nous pouvons éprouver notamment pendant la nuit quand nous sommes seuls face à nos pensées! Même lorsque nous sommes entourés par les gens ou par nos bien-aimés, nous pouvons vivre l'inquiétude, la solitude, la peur, le doute, et même "la nuit sombre de l'âme" que même les hommes et femmes de foi peuvent vivre. Il arrive souvent pendant la nuit que les questions posées à Dieu ne trouvent pas de réponses. Tout ce que nous pouvons faire est de crier vers Lui, tendre notre main vers Lui, attendre pour Lui, car rien et personne dans le monde autour de nous pourrait nous aider! L'image nous avons est celle de quelqu'un qui marche dans les ténèbres. Le seul moyen pour avancer est de prendre la main du Fils de Dieu. Nous pouvons ensuite marcher dans sa lumière. Au milieu de la nuit

t'es-tu senti tout seul

quand il fait noir tout autour

quand tu ne savais pas téléphoner

quand personne t'appelle

personne qui peut t'aider

les gens parlent beaucoup

mais ils sont égoïstes

Continuez à prier pour Johanan qui prépare ses examens à l'unif. dans quelques semaines, pour Melody et son mémoire de dernière année de même que son stage. Alison passe des examens actuellement. Alexi passera ses examens à la fin du mois de mai et achève plusieurs travaux pour le moment. Je vais apporter un message la semaine prochaine dans le groupe de jeunes ...
Prières et liens : 1.Etudes à l'unif. pour Jo, Melo et Alison pendant qu'Alexi termine en rhétos. 2.Les études d'Alison en Chine en langue chinoise. POur sa visite à Hong Kong. 3. Pour la pièce de théâtre de Johanan à Louvain-la-Neuve. Il y a un site sur facebook et un poster. 4.POur le ministère de Stu et Jon. 5.POur le projet de Bethany. 6.Pour les enfants des Dalits (les intouchables en Inde). 7.Pour le mémoire de Melody et pour ses stages au Centre neurologique Willam Lennox. 8.La tournée de Wayne qui s'est terminée le 3 janvier 2009 à Bilbao. 9.Prière pour les missionnaires GFA Nebu Sein et Yashpal Bhuta Masih qui se trouvent en prison. Yashpal Bhuta Masih a été libéré de prison mais doivent encore se défendre au tribunal. Priez pour Randhir Malhotra et Kritanu Sarin qui ont été agressés avant la projection d'un film sur Jésus. 10.Le "swimmaton" (nage sponsorisée) de notre nièce Lizzie pour l'oeuvre contre le cancer Marie Curie. 11.Merci pour la retraite de jeunes avec David et Lydie. 12.Message à apporter à la réunion de jeunes en mai 2009.
