Latest: Exams over for the boys. Johanan is still waiting for confirmation for his placement. Alexi has taken a couple of days off in Amsterdam. Melody hopes to visit Alison in Geneva.
If it interests you, Google have brought out their new "Chrome 4" browser
here which is apparently 'lightning fast' according to the CNET review "Chrome 4 is blazingly fast, more stable than previous versions, and introduces support for extensions, bookmark syncing, and some HTML5 innovations." The comparison here shows that
Chrome 4 is faster than Chrome 3, Firefox 3 and Internet Explorer 8!
My notes: "everything that shines is not gold only that which lasts" (2003).

The stars are in his eyes
his aiming for the prize
he wants to make it big
he thinks that nothing's rigged
the people shout and cheer
but one day they are gonna jeer
cos when the show begins
he does not know anything
cos when it all finishes
he'll be crying all alone
when the curtain comes down for ever
and someone takes over the show
he knows he'll have to go
Is that all there is to life
just one performance
to give it all you've got
and then say goodbye
what is there to look forward to
to make it big on the screen
is it really satisfaction
to want to be seen
But no one really looking cos they're
looking at themselves
and no ones really admiring
cos they're thinking of something else
and all the time you think you're loved
you think they're close to you
but you don't know that
they love themselves
and they don't care for you

il veut réussir
il pense que rien n'est faux
les gens applaudissent
mais un jour les mêmes se moqueront
car quand le show commence
il ne sait rien
car quand sera fini
il pleura tout seul
quand le rideau se ferme
et quelqu'un d'autre prend sa place
il sait il doit partir
est-ce tout ce qu'il y a dans la vie
juste une performance
pour tout donner
et puis s'en aller
qu'y a-t-il après
devenir célèbre à l'écran
donnera-t-il satisfaction
le désir d'être vu
sans que quelqu'un regarde
se regarder
et s'admirer
mais personne fait attention
tu pense être aimé
tu pense avoir des amis
mais les gens ne s'aiment
que soi-^même
et personne ne se soucie de toi
