Latest: My Christmas greetings this year come in the form of this cartoon done by D.Hayward about heaven. It is a humouristic view of our preconceptions and perceptions of heaven and who we expect to find there. May it remind us that Jesus came so that as many as possible might be reconciled to God, receive life, be changed and have a real hope of heaven, whatever our past, and there may well be a few surprises ;oD

Family News for prayer! Johanan is working hard for uni. Alison has more chinese exams and Alexi begins exams on thursday so he has to dust off his suit for the oral exams ! Melody has to make some progress in her final year dissertation as well as doing her placements. We will be in England for Christmas and the New Year but Melody and Alexi will be travelling back after a week whilst we stay on.
Prayer items and links : 1.University studies for Jo, Melo and Alison and the last year of secondary school for Alexi. 2.Alison's language study in China and for her general needs. 3.Thanks for Myriam and Gui's wedding. 4.Thanks for the meeting at the Binche church. 5.For Johanan's theatre audition. 6.For meetings I will be taking in Oct./Nov./Dec. (dates to be confirmed). -21st December - speaking at Berrymead church, London. 7.For Stu and Jon's ministries. 8.For Bethany's project. 9.Thanks for Alison's chinese exams. 10.For the Dalits in India (political freedom, social care, spiritual awakening).

Nous avons souvent des idées préconçues du ciel et notre attente n'est peut-être pas celle de Dieu ;oD Que cela puisse nous rappeler que Jésus n'est pas venu pour quelques privilégiés mais pour que le plus grand nombre puisse recevoir la vie, être réconcilié à Dieu, vivre un changement et avoir un espoir du ciel, quelque soit notre passé. Nous serions étonnés de ce qu'on pourrait trouver là haut :oD

Nouvelles de la famille pour la prière! Johanan travaille durement pour l'Unif. Alison doit passer d'autres examens en chinois et Alexi commence ses examens ce jeudi. Il doit sortir son costard pour les oraux ! Melody doit progresser dans son mémoire tout en continuant ses stages. Nous serons en Angleterre pour la Noël et le Nouvel An mais Melody et Alexi reviendront après une semaine.

Dernières nouvelles: David,, un ami du camp de jeunes d'où j'ai été orateur, m'a envoyé cette image d'Obama. Mon but est totalement apolitique ;oD Je trouve la photo intéressante et parmi celles qu'on trouverait pas dans les médias. Nous allons sans doute la trouver sur l'internet. Si Obama a l'intention de laisser Dieu le diriger dans la prière alors ce n'est pas un si mauvais point du départ! Johanan a emprunté un sax alto pour la pièce qu'il va jouer du director de l'orchestre où il jouait avant. Les examens se rapprochent pour Alison et Alexi. Melody termine ses stages à "l'Institut Médico-Pédagogique" à Bouge avant le 20 decembre et continuera après la Noël au centre neurologique "William Lennox".
