Latest: . I have just read Immaculée Ilibagiza's story of finding God in the Rwandan Holocaust. Originally from a catholic background it is encouraging to see how she experiences God in a living way. An excerpt from page 107, "In the midst of the genocide, I'd found my salvation. I knew that my bond with God would transcend the bathroom, the war and the holocaust... it was a bond I now knew would transcend life itself. I lifted my heart to the Lord and he filled it with his love and forgiveness. Being in that bathroom had become a blessing ... even if my parents had perished in the bloodshed outside, I would never be an orphan. I'd been born again in the bathroom and was now the loving daughter of God, my Father." One of the bible-school students who worked in my team at camp last year was from Rwanda and had most most of his family in the genocide. Melody has sat a few exams up to now and they have gone well. She continues this week. Nearly all of the kids will be sitting exams in a week's time.

Dernières nouvelles: Je viens de lire le livre d'Immaculée Ilibagiza à propos de son histoire intitulé "Trouver Dieu dans le génocide rwandais." D'origine catholique, Immaculée rencontre Dieu et elle raconte son histoire dans ce court extrait du livre à la page 107, "Au milieu du génocide, j'ai trouvé mon salut je savais que ce lien avec Dieu allait surplomber la salle de bains (ndlr: où elle s'est cachée), la guerre, et l'holocauste... c'était un lien qui surpasserait même la vie. J'ai élevé mon coeur vers le Seigneur et il l'a rempli avec son amour et son pardon. Le temps passé dans la salle de bains est devenu une bénédiction... même si mes parents sont morts dans les tuéries dehors, je n'étais pas orphenline. J'ai été née de nouveau dans la salle de bains et maintenant j'étais la fille aimée de Dieu, mon Père." L'année passée, un des jeunes qui travaillait dans mon équipe au camp avait perdu plusieurs membres de sa famille lors du génocide rwandais. Melody a passé quelques examens à l'unif jusqu'ici et cela se passe bien. elle continue cette semaine. Les examens commencent pour tous dans une semaine.
