You may have heard of the television series "Prison Break", this is the
"Holy Prison Break" which was sent to me by a youth leader in the US. The story is actually taken from the "Brick New Testament" which is interesting, a kind of "lego bible". You can follow the link above to have a look or click on the picture. On the family front, Johanan, Melody and Alison will be preparing for university exams soon. Alison has heard that she has a grant from the Chinese Embassy for her year in China, but she is not sure if it is a full grant (which covers fees and rent but not air-tickets etc) or just a partial grant for fees. Alexi has received his 10 daily jabs from the nurse and now has a period of 5 weeks convalescence to look forward to, with probably some physio treatment towards the end.

"le Prison Break spirituel" qu'un responsable de jeunes aux USA m'a envoyé. L'histoire est tirée du "Brick New Testament" (les histoires du Nouveau Testament en légos). Vous pouvez suivre le lien pour le visualiser ou cliquer sur l'image ci-dessus. En ce qui concerne la famille, Johanan, Melody et Alison vont bientôt préparer les exams à l'Unif. Alison vient d'apprendre qu'elle aura une bourse de l'Embassade Chinoise pour son année en Chine, mais elle ignore si il s'agit d'une bourse complète (minerval et loyer sans compter le biller d'avion ...) ou d'une bourse partielle pour le minerval. Alexi vient de terminer les 10 piqûres de l'infirmière. Il lui reste cinq semaines de convalescence sans activité sportive.

"I opened up the mouth of love and found the wisdom tooth". Here is a testimony concerning the logo :
"One last story About ten years ago I was talking to the new chaplain, Dominic, in Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall where I was a Probation Officer. Dominic (whose last name I cannot recall) was a young man, maybe 24 years old. As we talked, his shirt sleeve rode up and revealed a tattoo of Larrys famous open mouth with the three crosses on the tongue logo. It blew me away that this young guy knew of Larrys music. He said he had been a street kid in L.A. when he met Jesus through Larrys music. Some tattoo artist was able to recreate the artwork from an album cover onto his arm. He said Larrys example is what moved him to go into full-time ministry to young people..." If you click on the mouth above or on the title "Song for a small circle of friends", you can hear a tribute song by Richard Cummins together with Phil Keaggy.
Johanan and Melody will be doing a demo for an editeur working on an english language manual for secondary schools. The editeur needs english-speakers to do audio tracks of conversations for the students. More soon.

"Voici une histoire d'il y a 10 ans. Je parlais au nouvel aumonier, Dominic, à la maison de correction pour jeunes délinquants à Santa Clara County où je travaillais comme gardien. Dominic devait avoir 24 ans, et a remonté la manche de sa chemise pendant qu'on parlait pour dévoiler l'image de la bouche avec les trois croix rendue célèbre par Larry Norman. J'étais étonné d'apprendre que ce gars connaissait Larry. Il m'a expliqué comment en étant garçon de la rue à Los Angeles, il a rencontré Jésus à travers la musique de Larry Norman. L'exemple de Larry l'a poussé à travailler à temps plein pour Dieu dans le ministère qu'il exerce actuellementparmi les jeunes. A l'époque, il s'était fait tatouer l'image sur le bras parce qu'il était tellement touché par son expérience et cela semblait normal de le faire..." Si vous cliquez sur la bouche ci-dessus ou sur le titre du chant "Song for a small circle of friends", (chant pour un cercle restraint d'amis) vous entendrez le chant composé par Richard Cummins et Phil Keaggy comme un tribut pour Larry.
Johanan et Melody sont invité à faire un démo avec un éditeur qui prépare les manuels pour l'apprentissage de la langue anglaise dans les écoles secondaires. L'éditeur a besoin des voix anglaise pour préparer les pistes audio qui accompagneront les manuels.
