The picture is of Alexi and his niece Noa at Sarah-Emmanuelle (south-east ;oD) and Christophe's wedding. We are in Watford for a few days before going back to Belgium. The meeting at Berrymead Church in London went well as we enjoyed meeting the church family and Claire shared briefly and I brought the message. I also played football on an artificial turf as I was invited by Aamir to go along. The friday evening football is organized by christians in Watford whom I was able to meet. I survived more or less ;oD More on that soon.
Alison will be going to Shandong University in China, which was her first choice, as she preferred it to Beijing University. It was also the province where her grandad came from, the home of Confucius! Another link can be found here or here. She also wanted to travel after the Olympic Games in order to avoid the crowds. Shandong University is the second largest in China with nearly 52000 full-time students and 30 colleges. Alison will be at the College of International Education. L'image ci-dessus est d'Alexi et sa nièce Noa au mariage de Sarah-Emmanuelle (south-east ;oD) et de Christophe. Nous nous trouvons à Watford en Angleterre pour quelques jours avant de rentrer en Belgique. Le culte à l'église de Berrymead à Londres s'est très bien passé. Claire a partagé un peu et j'ai ensuite apporté le message. J'ai aussi joué au foot sur un gazon synthétique invité par Aamir. En fait, les chrétiens de Watford, que j'ai pu rencontrer, organisent un match de foot tous les vendredis et invitent les jeunes du coin. J'ai plus ou moins survécu ;oD Je vous en dirai davantage la prochaine fois.
Alison va aller à l'Université de Shandong en Chine. C'était en fait son premier choix, par rapport à l'Université de Beijing. Il s'agit également de la province de son grand-père, la ville natale de Confucius! Elle a préférré Shandong à l'Université de Beijing, son deuxième choix. Un autre lien se trouve ici ou encore ici. Elle voulait voyager après les Jeux Olympiques afin d'éviter les foules. L'Université de Shandong est la deuxième université en Chine avec presque 52000 étudiants à temps-pleins .
