Latest: Ok I look like a monk but it is in fact a cool rapper's sweatshirt. It looks like the contact I have with youngsters who do christian rap is rubbing off on me. If you want to see a ridiculous picture Melody took then click on the picture ;o) Alexi is away at the youth week-end at Ostend by the sea-side. The theme of the week-end is "Remember your creator in your youth". Finally thanks for your prayer for our niece's thyroid operation which went well.

Dernières nouvelles: Ok, je ressemble à un moine mais en fait je suis supposé avoir le look d'un rapper "cool" vu que je suis quelque peu influencé par le contact j'ai avec les jeunes qui font du rap chrétien. Latest: Here are Rebecca and Jonathan whom I was invited to baptize today. It went well. The testimonies by both of them were amazing. Yesterday's baptism with Simon also went well.

Dernières nouvelles: Voici Rebecca et Jonathan que j'ai été invité à baptiser aujourd'hui. Tout s'est bien passé. Les témoignages étaient étonnants. Le baptême hier avec Simon s'est très bien passé également.

Latest: Here are more pictures from the Mons University "Gutenberg" auditorium. Following the worship times I interviewed the lead singer, Carmelo from polyfonia and also Hans and Margret who shared about their how they met each other ;o)

Following the Han's message on the challenge of receiving Christ, Polyfonia shared several songs which were much appreciated.
In the afternoon it was the turn of Overflow to open the meeting with Emilie as the lead singer . Following a few inspiring songs by Overflow, Hans shared on the challenge of missions with many personal examples of his experiences in Papua New Guinea. I will give you more details about our visit to Carnières in the next blog. Tomorrow will be Simon's baptism and I will be baptizing Rebecca and Jonathan on Sunday. All are from the youth camp. Thanks for continued prayer. All the children passed their exams and continue in the following year (Johanan in his 3rd year Master's degree in literature, Melody in her 4th year Master's degree in Speech Therapy, Alison in her 3rd year Master's degree in Sinology and Alexi in the 5th year in upper school).

Dernières nouvelles: Voici d'autres images de l'auditoire "Gutenberg" à l'Université de Mons. Suite aux moments de louanges j'ai interviewé Carmelo le chanteur de Polyfonia ainsi que Hans and Margretqui ont parlé de leur rencontre amoureuse ;o) Suite au message de Hans à propos du défi que Christ nous lance, Polyfonia a chanté plusieurs chants très appréciés. C'était au tour de Overflow dans l'après-midi avec Emilie la chanteuse du groupe. Suite aux chants inspirés, Hans a partagé sur le défi missionnaire avec plusieurs expériences personnelles tirées des années passées en Papouasie Nouvelle Guinée. Je vous donnerai d'autres détails dans mon prochain blog à propos de notre visite à l'église de Carnières. Demain nous serons au baptême de Simon. Je vais baptiser Rebecca and Jonathan ce dimanche. Tous se trouvaient au camp de jeunes. Tous les enfants ont réussi leurs examens. Johanan se trouve en 3e année "Masters" en littérature, Melody en 4e année "Masters" en Logopédie, Alison en 3e année "Masters" en Sinologie et Alexi 5e année secondaire.

Latest: The youth events at the Mons University "Gutenberg" auditorium went well. Hans & Margret shared about their work in Papua New Guinea and I interpreted both messages for him. The worship groups, Polyfonia and Overflow, were part of our team as they sang several songs during the worship times. Hans also shared on Sunday at the Carnières church as we once again ministered together. We thank you for your faithful prayers. I have been invited to baptize Rebecca and Jonathan from the summer camps at Mont-sur-Marchienne this coming Sunday (23rd September). Simon from our team at the camp will also be baptized this saturday (22nd September). Iam invited to speak at the morning meeting at Wasmes in October. Thanks for prayer.

Dernières nouvelles: Les rencontres pour jeunes dans l'auditoire "Gutenberg" à l'Université de Mons se sont bien passées. Hans & Margret ont parlé de leur travail en Papouasie Nouvelle Guinée et j'ai interprété leur messages. Les groupes Polyfonia et Overflow, qui faisaient partis de notre équipe, ont dirigé la louange pendant les rencontres. Hans a également apporté le message à l'église de Carnières le dimanche où nous avons pu partagé ensemble dans le ministère une nouvelle fois. Nous vous remerçions pour vos prières fidèles. J'ai été invité à baptiser Rebecca et Jonathan, des camps de jeunes, à Mont-sur-Marchienne dimanche prochain (23 september). Polyfonia and Overflow were part of our team to point to Jesus and to glorify God. Hans also shared on Sunday at the Carnières church. We thank you for your faithful prayers. Latest: Do pray for the youth events at the COnvention this saturday at the Mons University "Gutenberg" auditorium. Hans (in the above pic) and Margret will be coming over from Austria to share and they will also speak at the Carnières church on the Sunday. They will also share something of their experience as missionaries in Papua New Guinea. The two groups who will also be part of the team is Polyfonia, which you can listen to here , and Overflow. The student barbecue went well. Thanks for prayer for this saturday.

Hans (ce-dessus) et Margret arriveront de l'Autriche pour partager. Ils sont également invités à l'église de Carnières le dimanche. Latest: Jotham is Eliel and Virginie's son. they served in our team during the camp and Eliel was a former student in his youth ;o) He began to walk at the youth camp this summer. We will be seeing them tomorrow with other students for a barbecue. Johanan, Melody and Alexi have all passed their exams. Alison still has one exam to sit in a week's time. Do continue to pray for our niece's operation in September as well as the Youth events on the 15th.

Dernières nouvelles: Jotham est le fils de Eliel et Virginie. Ils ont servi avec nous dans l'équipe au camp de jeunes. Eliel était mon ancien étudiant (dans sa jeunesse ;o) ! Jotham a commencé à marcher aau camp de jeunes. Nous les verrons demain pour un barbecue avec les étudiants. Johanan, Melody et Alexi ont réussi tous leurs examens et Alison a encore un examen à passer dans une semaine. Latest: Got some photos from Lydie and David's wedding I mentioned to you about. You can have a look at some great photos here and here . Continue to pray for the Youth Events at the Mons University on the 15th of September, for the groups "Polyfonia" and "Overflow", for Matt the sound engineer, for Hans and Margret. Do pray for Claire as well who has been working with me as a team in all we do for many years now whether it is with the young people, in pastoral work in the churches, in the camps, in the youth events, in providing hospitality, as well as being there for the family. Pray that she would be much encouraged and strengthened both physically and spiritually.

Dernières nouvelles: Je viens de recevoir les dernières photos du mariage de Lydie et David dont je vous ai déjà parlés. Vous pouvez visionner les photos très bien faites ici et ici . Continuez à prier pour les rencontres de jeunes le 15 septembre à l'Université de Mons, pour les groupes "Polyfonia" et "Overflow", pour Matt l'ingénieur du son, pour Hans et Margret. Priez pour Claire qui a travaillé avec moi en équipe depuis des années dans tout ce qu'on a entrepris que ce soit le travail parmi les jeunes, le travail pastoral dans les églises, les camps de jeunes, les réunions de jeunes à l'unif. de Mons ou dans dans le ministère de l'accueil à la maison. Elle a toujours été présente pour la famille également. Priez pour qu'elle soit fortifiée physiquement et spirituellement.

Latest: Here is Gynel's rap with David who sang.

I have invited the group "Polyfonia" to do a few songs at the morning event at the Mon's University Gutenberg auditorium on the 15th of September. The other group "Overflow" will be doing the afternoon slot and will be doing their own concert in the evening at the same venue. Hans and Margret, our friends from Austria and former missionaries in Papua New Guinea, will be sharing in both sessions. I will also be translating for Hans who will be speaking at a church I know on the Sunday. Thanks for prayer.

Dernières nouvelles: Le rap de Gynel avec David se trouve ci-dessus. J'ai invité le groupe "Polyfonia" à chanter le 15 septembre à l'auditoire Gutenberg à l'Université de Mons. L'autre groupe "Overflow" participera l'après-midi. Leur propre concert aura lieu le soir dans le même endroit. Nos amis allemands, Hans et Margret, qui viennent de l'Autriche et sont anciens missionnaires au Papouasie Nouvelles Guinée, partageront le matin et le soir. Je vais également interpréter pour Hans puisqu'il est inviter le dimanche à prêcher dans une église que je connais bien. Merci pour vos prières.
